Clay modeling keeps my hands busy, my mind creative, and my passion alive.
I’m Jacob Montino, A clay modeling enthusiast with a passion for bringing ideas, characters, and everyday objects to life. Each creation begins with inspiration and takes shape through patience, imagination, and hands-on craftsmanship.
Working piece by piece allows me to enjoy every stage of the process, from shaping the smallest details to revealing the finished sculpture. I love exploring animated characters, experimenting with colors and shapes, and embracing the little imperfections that make every handmade creation unique.

The process
No shortcuts — just colored clay, patient hands, and a willingness to see where creativity leads.

Find the character
It starts with an idea, followed by lots of slicing, pinching, and mixing colored clay. From there, I let my imagination guide the process and give each character its own personality.

Make by hand
Each small piece is carefully shaped, trimmed, and finished before becoming part of the final creation. Every detail added along the way contributes to the character, personality, and story of the sculpture.

Dry & finish
As each piece dries, little changes and surprises can emerge, giving every finished sculpture its own unique character. The final touches bring everything together, making each creation one of a kind.
